DDB

DDB Stockholm
Volkswagen
www.thefuntheory.com
This was a campaign that DDB did along with Volkswagen to promote recycling using the "fun theory." It was really effective and I think it's a great idea, but I'm not sure if it was supposed to be a promotion for Volkswagen or whether it was just a team effort to get people to recycle. Either way, it's a socially responsible idea that people could learn a lot from!

BBDO

BBDO New York and Singapore
Gillette: uArt iPhone Application

I think this is a great way to use iPhone applications to advertise a product. It's something that the user has to choose to download, and is a fun game that doesn't harass them. This is definitely something that people would show to their friends as a joke or email each other pictures using the application, which is free spreading of the Gillette brand name.

Large Scale Productions

TBWA, London
Client: Playstation
I love this one. I love the Shirley Temple song and just the grand scale of the commercial with a really fun message.

Mother, London
Client: Coca-Cola
This is a really cool ad and there was no digital imagery whatsoever. All of the people in it are different people who were actually there on set, except the one girl at the beginning and end are the same. Even the girls that are suspended in the air are actually hanging on wires!

Fallon
Client: Sony Bravia
This is a really cool ad that took a ton of work to produce but in Intro to Creativity we learned that they stole the idea from someone! So sad.
